To the team at Triboard Mill
It gives me great pleasure to share what our pupils have been making. Through your generosity over many years our year eight pupils have been making a lot of projects. Desks, tables, shelves of all shapes and sizes. Their brief is to find an alternative use for tri-board in the home. We even had a couple of horse saddle racks way back.
Oruaiti school have been making desks for the pupils in their classroom which they take home at the end of their year 8. This year they made shelves to attach to the back of their desks.
For some of the Y7 pupils this year we made some games. The Brief was exploring old school games.
- Fishing game.
- Tic Tac Toe
- Washer toss
- Marble challenge
- Cornhole
This was interesting and fun. I have been able to continue with these projects year after year due to the high level of engagement of the pupils. Every now and then a pupil turns up with a great idea and motivation, and we will try to make it happen. We don’t have the time or skill for drawers or doors.
I had many more photos going back years, but they have disappeared!
Thank you again for your many years of support.
