Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) -
For supporting the growth of responsible and sustainable forest management worldwide. All of our Forests are FSC certified. All of our Mills are also certified with the
FSC Chain of Custody
which means that we can track our wood from its source as a tree in the forest to the final product received by the customer.

AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management -
For maintaining high standards of environmental management across all our facilities and for making continuous efforts to lessen our impact on the environment. All of our Forest and Mill operations have been ISO certified for a number of years - so being sensitive to the environment is strongly established in our Company.

AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management -
For maintaining excellence in our wood processing operations through our quality management system. All of our Mills are ISO (Quality) certified. This means that we are focussed on quality production processes and on ensuring that our products meet and satisfy customer requirements.

Engineered Wood Products Association of Australasia (EWPAA)
- Our LVL and Plywood manufacturing Mills at Gisborne and Masterton are certified by EWPAA as having manufacturing processes that meet high standards of quality control and that ensure the highest levels of product predictability, reliability and durability. And as a
JAS-ANZ
accredited body, EWPAA also certifies that we produce product compliant with the relevant Australian/New Zealand Standards.

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Our Mill operations have been recognised by the Japan Insitute of Plant Maintenance for having involved our work-force in achieving a commendable level of plant maintenance and cleanliness, and of reducing cost and waste for the benefit of the environment and our customers.

Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP)
- Our safety management policies and practices for our workplaces have been assessed by the Accident Compensation Corporation of NZ (ACC) as meeting the highest standard possible (tertiary) under its Safety Programme.
