Strandboard
Strandboard is made from wood flakes (rather than chips) which are glued and pressed together to form strong high density panels.
Strandboard is an ideal cost-effective and durable flooring solution for residential and commercial settings. It can also be used for wall panels, ceilings and stairs, and as an overlay where a decorative look is needed. It has high impact resistence and has high aesthetic appeal.
Available as square edge or tongue and groove flooring panels, Strandboard comes in a range of panel sizes and thicknesses. It is easy to work with and can be readily nailed or screwed.
Strandboard is engineered from 100% sustainable NZ Radiata pine and it is made in accordance with strict quality and environmental standards (ISO, FSC). It has significant aesthetic features which are enhanced by the use of colour washes and clear finishing. Although designed primarilly as a strong and easy to use substrate or exposed flooring solution, Strandboard is a versatile product that can be used in a variety of situations, including those where a decorative finish is needed. Strandboard also meets the E zero formaldehyde emissions level.
