MDF
MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is a strong and stable panel product suitable for a wide range of internal, mostly non-structural, applications. It has a high surface smoothness that is readily paintable, a clean edge profile, and an even density throughout the thickness of the panel. And it is easily cut and machined using conventional woodworking tools. It is available in a range of sheet sizes and thicknesses.
Our MDF is engineered from 100% sustainable NZ Radiata pine and made in accordance with strict quality and environmental standards (ISO, FSC). Because it has a wide range of uses, including as a substrate material (e.g. veneer overlaying), for cabinetry making (e.g. kitchen & bedroom units), and for wall and ceiling linings (as a finished surface), it is a truly versatile product.
